"The greatest hazard of all, losing one's self, can occur very quietly in the world, as if it were nothing at all. No other loss can occur so quietly; any other loss - an arm, a leg, five dollars, a wife, etc. - is sure to be noticed."
-Søren Kierkegaard
This week's illustration friday is themed "subtraction", which has a terrible lot of possible interpretations past the mathematical one. Lots of personal meanings to apply! Here are some other ones I liked from this week - ben conservato, won tsuen, andre gribble and ori toor.
I agree with your idea that SUBTRACT is such a varied theme but I love your take on it. What we lose when don't know subtracts from life its real wonder...thankfully we can illustrate it and keep in touch where others might forget.
